Koganda

Koganda are identical in physiology to the real world human variant race Homo floresiensis, resembling an archaic human and being about 3-4 feet tall. In Undersided, their clothing is essentially entirely functional, though they do not need coverage due to their habitat, making it mostly for utilities, job equipment, storage, etc.

The Koganda are a diminutive race of humans. They are conventionally dark-skinned. They are Undersided's version of Homo floresiensis, and as such lack a sense of creativity and "art" as distinct from general ingenuity and cleverness, resulting in a focus on practicality and a weak sense of aesthetic in the manner familiar to standard humans. As of 913 SR, they are not uplifted and have gone down a track similar to Liruzon's pre-uplift. They are native to, and almost exclusively live in, Rumekogan. The Mairoi have agreed to leave them alone for now, perhaps beginning a process of gradual integration starting in the 930s.
