The Koganda are a diminutive race of humans. They are conventionally dark-skinned. They are Undersided's version of ''Homo floresiensis,'' and as such lack a sense of creativity and "art" as distinct from general ingenuity and cleverness, resulting in a focus on practicality and a weak sense of aesthetic in the manner familiar to standard humans. As of [[Timeline/900-999 SR|913 SR]], they are not [[Uplift|uplifted]] and have gone down a track similar to [[Liruzon]]'s pre-uplift. They are native to, and almost exclusively live in, [[Rumekogan]]. The [[Mairo|Mairoi]] have agreed to leave them alone for now, perhaps beginning a process of gradual integration starting in the 930s.
