Underground

The Underground is a massive region located below the Surface, consisting of a network of cave systems and caverns underneath the entire surface world. The Underground has many different environments, such as Brevo (a flooded region) and other environments including:

• Volcanic regions, like Hotland
• Regions with other special features like crystal deposits, such as those found in the Robanagari region
• Lower extensions of surface environments such as forests, induced by yahiric manifestation
• Wide-open caverns like Brevo and Shinarazi
• Very narrow, cramped caverns like Sharila

Terminology note: often, "the Underground" will be used to specifically refer to Ebott Underground, especially by sources in Yarzon-Ebott.

Entrances to the Underground exist all over the world, and the Underground itself usually continues down to the bottom of the crust.
