In Undersided, the year is 301.3063 local days, the lunar month is 32.762 local days, and the local day is 25.758 real-world hours. This means that a local year is about 323.377 Earth days.

With this in mind, various calendar systems have emerged.

The Ezvelan calendar is the standard calendar used throughout most of Iltezon. It divides the year into eight months alternating 37 and 38 days, starting with Ilgimer at 38 days:

Njuimer Nr 38 Summer

Gazaha Ga 38 Fall
Gazeki Ge 37 Fall
(Arvendanula) (Arv) 1 (normally) / 2 (leap year) Winter

Each week is 8 days long, with a 3-day weekend. Leap years occur in a pattern of __#__#__#___#, over 13 years.

The conventional starting date for the calendar is what is now 1321 BF. However, in modern times, due to Siegetev's Rahazuna power projection, SR (years since the founding of Rahazun) is commonly used instead. The yarov of Yarzon-Ebott used the X calendar (0 X = 662 SR).

The Indadvi calendar uses 10 months, each of which are 30 days, except for the last one which is 31 or 32 depending on the year.

The calendar used by the Avangani, who live near the equator and live on much shorter timescales compared to other races, tracks the moon as opposed to the sun, with 3 months being 32 days long before the fourth is 33. Years are not counted at all.
