Ezef

An ezef reference. Ezov are comparable to archaic humans such as Homo habilis, which they descend from an Undersided human variant similar to. Ezov are about 5 feet tall and have a thick coat of fur, of a transparent color that appears white when viewed from a distance. The clothing custom depicted here is of Ezvelan and reflects a minor gender binary in Ezeva culture. Ezov of Korhision do not usually wear clothing except as decoration.

An ezef (plural: ezov) is a human of the variety inhabiting Ezvelan and northern Liruzon. They have a distinctive furred appearance, similar to a polar bear while still being human, and have very short lifespans of about 40-50 years. The average ezef is about 5 feet tall. Established aspects of Ezeva culture include the Ezeva mythology, alongside the use of altered mental states (i.e. via psychoactive drugs) for various purposes, including the "berserker warriors" noted by colonists from Myalvi, being warriors who would fight in a trance-like state.
