The Yahiraban, Nivrikarov ("half-yarov"), or Banzhai are a branch of Razil, often regarded as a separate subrace, that lives in the caves deep underneath the Vana region. These would be inhospitable, but for the high levels of ambient yahiric energy. Usually this is insufficient to sustain humans, but the Yahiraban have forced a somewhat yaref-like physiology on themselves. As a result, they often having very small social structures, a degree of vigilance, an extremely high weight placed on short-term thinking as opposed to long-term planning, and unusual, especially emotionally driven linguistic patterns. They are generally quite physically weak and often have developmental issues, due to generations of reinforced bending of the general behavior of a human body to suit their lifestyle and habitat. However, they can natively do some expressive activities ("magic") usually otherwise characteristic of yarov.
