Malakiz (singular: Malakon) are a human subrace who live across Iltezon as a diaspora, in various small settlements within other cities, in traveling bands, etc. Physically, they resemble wila children (in fact, puberty/adolescence doesn't affect their external appearance at all), with reddish skin tones.
Development
[edit | edit source]"Malakon" is taken from the term Malacon from TheKaiwolf's "The Kheil" worldbuild. Due to Kai's unusual stances regarding derivatives, Vector has come up with a list of possible alternative names for the race in case Kai demands the name be replaced:
- Falikon
- Emikon
- Tobakon
There were some other considered names that also ended in -kon and served as a dark joke about the race's appearance, but these were scrapped due to being too edgy for comfort.
