'''Royal Sciences''', formerly the '''Yarzon-Ebott Royal Science Division''', is a major research group in [[Yarzon-Ebott]], dealing with technological research as well as, before [[Timeline/900-999 SR|251 X]] (913 SR), solutions to breaking the [[barrier]]. It was established as a division of the government by [[Ruaeli]] in [[Timeline/600-699 SR|0 X]] (662 SR) just after the [[Invasion of Yarzon-Watershed]]. However, in [[Timeline/800-899 SR|222 X]] ({{SR|222}}), the leader [[Gaster]] reformed it into an independent company, establishing himself as "Royal Scientist". This was intended to be an interim position that would later be dissolved upon Gaster's death or retirement, but it was reinstated for [[Alfi-Niv|Alfizo]] in 246 X.
