Editing Ghost

A ghost is a special kind of [[yaref]] without a fixed form, listed as type #0 in most listings. By default, any ghost has an active "placeholder form", but a ghost can possess a physical object to take control of it as a body. If a ghost spends a long time in a body and is satisfied with it, they will fuse to the body, becoming fully integrated into it. While this state is desirable for a few experiential reasons, it does leave the yaref vulnerable to physical attacks, and functions like a normal yaref, but with a physical body.

A ghost can possess any object, including the body of a [[human]] or another yaref, though this is not the same form of shared consciousness as [[SOUL]] absorption provides.
