The Historian

The Historian is an identity maintained by the University of Monselian as its founder and highest official. Despite the Historian not being a real person, the identity is physically forced by its own conception in society as well as its maintenance by various people in the University fulfilling its role. The Historian's motive as a person is to preserve history and spread knowledge.

Mythologically, the Historian is an immortal servant of Ramazir. Physical appearances of the Historian are extremely rare, but many books have been published by the University in the Historian's name. The Historian's arrival in Monselian is stated to be what led to Rahazun's rise to power.

Hesanic interpretations treat the Historian as a divine force supplying inspiration to the people who are in its position.
